The MSM is going after Fred, which should be good news for conservatives; because it shows that they fear him. Anything that threatens the Hillary/Obama 2008 ticket will be savaged!

Now that the polls are showing him being able to beat Hilldog, you’ll see a LOT more articles like this.

Funny, Fred is the only one I’ve seen even addressing the impending entitlement implosion. Yet he’s short on substance. /sarcasm

At least Thompson doesn’t need a 1000 haircut.

I wonder how much ‘Liz’... has donated to Rapist42’s partner-in-crime.

Is he clean? Is he articulate? Those are the criteria by which the media judges someone to be a "serious candidate".

Interesting that, as soon as the latest Rasmussen Poll cites Fred being the ONLY Repub candidate that could even ties Hillary, the MSM prints this story. Watch for the rest of the war chest of hidden weapons to come out. Dems have their mud ready to sling and strategic plans for when to sling it. They are the pros!

Obama has been officially running for months, but no one in the media has asked the same question of him.

Wow, the “San Luis Abispo” time is running pieces about a Fred speech in SC 7 months before the first vote is held.
Welcome to the NFL Fred.

Of course, Hillary has no style and no substance either — but you won’t hear that from the MSM.
But, of course she’s a commie with fat legs and that’s really all that matters to them.

“’’Smooth is good, but sometimes nitty gritty is essential,’’
After years of the MSM relentlessly mocking Bush’s style — as a facile way of attacking the nitty gritty — this is a tad hypocritical.

I love this “do nothing” criticism of his Senate days. I think this is a plus, do we want someone who drove through such great bills such as “No Child Left Behind”, “BBA of 1997”, or Federalizing Airport Security, billions in earmarks- and don’t forget endless meaningless hearings.

That was all a Muslim born, bred and educated black man from Chicago needed to get the MSM's liberal hearts to flutter and anuses to quiver.
Why must Thompson show or prove so much more?
There are just two questions I'll have for ANY candidate from ANY party..
1. Will you defend the Constitution, our borders and our culture from ALL threats - foreign or domestic, and USE THE FULL MIGHT AND POWER OF THE MILITARY TO DO SO?
2. Will you ENFORCE ALL THE LAWS OF THE NATION - equally, firmly and without regard for station, privilege or wealth of the accused.

Strong on style, not substance sounds more like Obama to me, and I don’t think he is even strong on style as much as he is on media hype.

Awesome American Patriot?
Based on what? Did he serve in the military?
Isn’t he Vietnam War era?
Can you name one piece of legislation that he wrote or co-sponsored that became law?
Help me understand why he deserves my vote...

Do we really want someone who authored a bunch of dangerous or mischievous laws? If so, Teddy Kennedy, Russ Feingold or John McCain is your man! Did Bill Clinton, Hillary, Obama, Edwards, Kucinich, Romney, Giuliani, Richardson, Cheney, or thousands of other politicians serve in the military? So what’s your point? If you don’t back Fred, that’s fine, but don’t be a gnat!
