If Bush continues to refuse to enforce U.S. immigration laws, to secure the Mexican Border, and to halt further illegal immigration, he should be impeached.

Having spent many miles and many hours driving around our wonderful country, I can tell you that, by and large, truck drivers are some of the most patriotic Americans you’ll find.
Perhaps it’s time for them to start “rolling protests” (where they drive just below the speed limit and occupy all lanes) to show their distaste for this garbage.
I assume everyone realizes that this, along with the Amnesty Bill, are two of President Bush’s major efforts in implementing the NAU.

An unhappy Todd Spencer, executive director of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, believes the Bush administration "has preordained that the Mexican truck demonstration project will begin regardless who objects."

Try driving the Interstate between Nogales and Tucson. The Mexican trucks are guaranteed to give you a thrill.

I’m not sure what side I’m on; the free enterprise Mexicans or the protectionist American Union thugs. I’d much prefer if both of these groups would go away.

You'll have to find another excuse for being anti-American...

I’m beginning to believe that the North American Union is a part of this and that it will be shoved down our throats.

Everyone in the trucking and distribution industry knows that the roads and highways are clogged with trucks driven by Mexican drivers who are unqualified, untrained, unhealthy, cannot speak or read English fluently, not in compliance with DOT rules and regulations and working for $12.00 a day.
It’s about CHEAP LABOR.
Did you ever see a Mexican vehicle operating on the roads in Mexico? All Mexican trucks and drivers are certified as safe and qualified by Mexican authorities. The trucks and drivers are given a pass once across the border
Already the number of accidents involving large trucks is increasing after decades of decline..

Speaking of Mexico, does anyone have a link to a story about a Chinese businessman in Mexico who was hiding drug money ($150 million) in the walls of his mansion for Pres. Calderon?
