I know I’m looking forward with even more enthusiasm to H!’s health care plan here in the US.

However, the organisation also warned trusts not to target doctors because of their religion or belief.

Heavens, no! That would make too much sense.

Many doctor appointments expected to be cancelled, and unemployment claims for doctors in Britain are expected to increase next week.

Just out of curiosity, how on earth would the NHS run background checks on these foreign doctors? They are totally unqualified to do a check that could possibly catch someone like the doctors recently arrested.

The only possible way to prevent something like this happening again would be—not to hire Muslim doctors. Or for the intelligence agencies to pick up on them by monitoring all their phone calls and meetings, etc.

But the more Muslims you have running around, the harder that will be to do. There’s just not enough manpower to watch them all, especially since they are instructed not to profile or to be seen watching them.

Once again, where is the outrage from the muslim community? Clearly these medical people were peace loving citizens who just wanted to live as British citizens. </sarcasm>
Somehow the non-muslim world needs to wake up and realize that these extremest brainwashed murderers are living amongst us and just waiting for the opportunity to destroy our civilization.

Not sure I believe this,...but if true,...so much for the operation being a little locally conceived one...

From the long thread and post #1941 of Texkat's

******************************************

Bilal Abdulla : Mystery man 'who hated the West's crusade'

To his hospital colleagues, Bilal Abdulla was a mystery man who seemed to lack interest in being a doctor.

His devotion to Islam always came first and he would disappear for long periods during the working day to pray or to log on to Arabic websites.

He told fellow staff nothing of his previous life in Iraq, claiming instead that he was Jordanian.

But yesterday suspicions were growing that he had direct links to Al Qaeda and had formed a terror cell inside the NHS.

Shiraz Maher, who knows the doctor well, told Sky News: "He was very angry about the West, particularly Britain and America and the invasion of Iraq.

"He saw it as the classic idea of a crusader war engineered by the West to impose Western views on an Islamic country.'

It was claimed yesterday that Abdulla was recruited by Al Qaeda in Iraq and ordered to travel to Britain.

Abdulla, who studied medicine in Baghdad, came from a family of Wahabist Muslims, an ultraconservative form of Islam that promotes Sharia law.

From the Blogosphere (CQ):

CBS: Attacks An Al-Qaeda Sleeper Operation

********************************EXCERPT*******************************

Why physicians? The British had a fast-track entry program to get doctors into the country from abroad. Does that sound familiar? The US had a similar system for students before 9/11.

This tells us that the jihad in Iraq presents a direct threat to the West, and that it didn't begin with the invasion -- and the invasion didn't entirely stop it, either. Zarqawi had set up shop in Iraq before the Americans arrived with the complicity of the Iraqi government and ramped up his organization in the aftermath of the invasion. He had always threatened to reach outside of Iraq with AQ-Iraq, and almost a year after reaching room temperature, he almost succeeded.

This should make it official -- Iraq is a center in the war against radical Islamist terrorism.

People can debate whether it would have been so absent an American invasion honestly and with evidence to support either position, but none can escape the fact that al-Qaeda operates in Iraq and that they have used that base to attack the West at home. They failed, which gives us optimism that we can beat them both at home and in Iraq, but it doesn't negate the threat.

“The organisation urged hospitals to carry out checks in doctors’ home countries and repeat this as “good practice” every three years.

However, the organisation also warned trusts not to target doctors because of their religion or belief.”

Canon Andrew White, who runs the Iraqi capital's only Anglican parish, claimed that he met an unnamed al-Qa'eda leader on the sidelines of a religious reconciliation meeting in Amman, Jordan.

"He told me that the plans were already made and they would soon be destroying the British," Canon White said. "He said the people who cure you would kill you."

Maybe this is why Michael Moore is pushing socialized medicine to the Islamofascist Doctors can inject their patients with deadly contagious diseases or deadly substances.

UK's new left wing and whining pussy Prime Minister Brown, doesn't want the terrorists called or labeled Muslims, and he doesn't want the power that Tony Blair had.

Our cousins across the pond on the old Sod are fading fast into the sunset of history. PCism is killing them with their socialized medicine.

If we elect the Hildebea$t or O$amo/Obamo to punish republicans in 2008, we can kiss this country good bye along with the UK and Europe.

Thanks to TexKat, we can read this chilling report.

Ringleader ‘Al-Qaeda sleeper’

Paul Kent
July 05, 2007 12:00am

THE alleged ringleader of the British bomb plot linked to the doctor arrested in Brisbane was a “sleeper” sent to Britain to await orders from Al-Qaeda, according to US reports.

As MI5 chiefs feared more terrorist sleeper cells were in Britain, the revelation of a possible Al-Qaeda link has thrown open the possibility that sleeper cells are also hibernating in Australia awaiting orders to kill and maim civilians.
“There are genuine concerns that the cell which was broken up in the past few days was not a one-off and that there are others out there plotting mass murder,” a British security source said yesterday.

“The worrying truth is, we don’t know how many are out there.”

It is believed alleged ringleader Mohammed Asha, who was arrested on Sunday, was sent to Britain two years ago as part of Al-Qaeda’s long-term plan to bring terror to the UK.

Fears of sleeper cells surfaced as it emerged that as many as four of the alleged terrorists arrested were known to British intelligence but were regarded as low priority.

At least one had featured in a surveillance operation, although there had been no suggestion any of the suspects were planning the failed bomb attacks in London and Glasgow.

US reports say that key members of the NHS cell were recruited two years ago by terror mastermind Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in an extraordinary piece of advanced planning.

Al-Zarqawi was killed in Iraq last year.

His plan was to have sleepers in place who had entirely different profiles to the “homegrown” July 7 bombers in London two years ago.

And it emerged last night that the last Anglican vicar in Baghdad, Canon Andrew White, was approached in mid-April by

an Iraqi Al-Qaeda leader

who “talked to me about how they were going to destroy British and Americans”.
