MIDDLETOWN An "admitted illegal alien from Mexico" was arrested Wednesday for producing a half-dozen fake identification, Social Security and permanent residency cards and selling them to undercover police officers, the Butler County Sheriff's Office said Thursday.
Abel Gaston Gudino-Arenas, 33, of Middletown, was charged with six counts of forgery a fifth-degree felony and no operator's license a misdemeanor for manufacturing fake documents, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. Deputies said the man admitted to manufacturing the cards for more than three months.
Gudino-Arenas was arrested after he allegedly delivered a fake ID to undercover officers for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed of Pakistan, the self-proclaimed mastermind behind the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. According to the news release, officers asked Gudino-Arenas to produce the ID for Mohammed "in an attempt to see how far (he) was willing to go."
Deputies also found marked money on him and in his car, the release stated.
Gudino-Arenas is being held in Butler County Jail on a holder from Immigration and Customs Enforcement and faces possible deportation, said Butler County Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Monte Mayer.
Prior to his arrest, undercover officers had purchased two Kentucky ID cards, two Social Security cards and two permanent resident cards, the release stated.
A search of his house by deputies and Middletown police turned up more than 330 blank identification cards, $540, three cell phones, two laptop computers, two printers, a scanner, a laminating machine and paper used for making Social Security cards, the release stated.
Good thing Middletown isn’t a sanctuary city.
"These (illegal) immigrants make us very very proud that our #1 job
is to get al least 500 million of them here, and to proudly give them Amnesty, health care, social security, Medicaid, homes, free college education, free money, welfare, free drugs, free food, free ... .........."
Can’t say I’m surprised. Around here, several Mexican grocery stores are just fronts for selling prescription meds and other nefarious products to illegals.
Can I be the first to say it?
Manufacturing the fake IDs for terrorists that Americans won't manufacture
It seems to me that they do not care about doing anything to deport them . I heard Tom Tancredo say all that needs to be done is to fine the employers for hiring them and they would deport themselves.
Where do they get the machines and whatever it takes to make these things?
Tom Tancredo is right.
Yup, it's just possible that he'll be convicted, sent to prison, and then released from prison with a piece of paper telling him to show up at a ICE hearing to go over his possible deportation.
It takes a desktop computer, a color laser printer, a design program and a laminating machine.
Only way this works is if you also go after illegal alien owned businesses as well.
Which is why he needs to have an ‘accident’...
ping
Take the SOB and hang him.
Manufacturing false identity documents during a time of war ought to be a hanging offense.
And if not, why not?
The dumbass didn’t even bother to make himself a drivers license?
(Put him on the path to citizenship, he’s as smart as most politicians.)
Most color laser printers have an embedded serial number that shows up every inch across the page, displayed in yellow dots a millimeter in size.
So shock among shock, a lot of criminals went back to inkjet style printers with special ink refills.
Ya know, if we’d just been able to pass the Shamesty Bill, he and others like him wouldn’t have to resort to such business practices to feed his 14 children and 67 relatives.

Possible deportation ???
Possible ?
Oh man what kind of a country am I leaving my kids :(
