I tried to remove myself from the political realm of the U.S., what BushCo is turning into an Evil Empire, but the blatant audacity of George commuting Scooters sentence ... has dragged me kicking and screaming back in.Translation, a few days out of the limelight is killing me.

Cindy Sheehan will return to her protest site near President George W. Bush's Texas ranch this weekend to bid farewell to the peace movement. But...but...I thought she already bid farewell to it weeks ago.
IMHO, she's an unaddulterated, abject media whore who is trying to milk more and more out of her ounce of shame. How sad and pathetic for her, how sad for her family...and most especially, how sad and shameful for the memory of her departed hero son, Casey.

Between this statement and Hill and Bill's little skit, do the Dems really want to start portraying themselves as mafia members?

Sheehan said Tuesday that she is asking people to join her in a 10-day walk from Atlanta to Washington, D.C., starting July 13 Better be a dang fast walker.
650 miles in 10 days.
Probably walk a half mile through each town for the cameras, then drive to the next.
I've done my share of long-distance walking, and I sure wouldn't want to do Atlanta to DC in July.
