Yes. I remember seeing a sat photo of a convoy prior to the invasion said to contain 1400 trucks heading across the desert of western Iraq towards Syria. Unfortunately, I didn't save the photo at the time. A couple of years later when all the "Bush lied - No WMD" arguments started flying I was arguing with a Liberal neighbor of mine on this very subject. I searched trying to find a copy of that photo to shut up that Liberal neighbor, but a lengthy Google search turned up nothing.
I think Saddam's WMD's were real and he had lots of them. They were trucked to Syria with the help of the Russians and the US Military knows it. I suspect that the reason this hasn't been made widely public has to do with not wanting to embarass the Russians. I would also suspect that we have spooks in country keeping an eye on things, as well as a satelite parked over Syria. Then again, what better place to store some of the nastiest stuff on earth than old Bashar's back yard?
Couldn't have been, since I don't have cable. It was probably on Fox. Of course I realized at the time that they couldn't bomb a convoy they suspected of being full of WMD not knowing how the WMD would disseminate or redetonate. Still, that didn't stop me from shouting for them to do something to stop it.

On April of 2004 a sarin gas canister was fired at American troops by insurgents. Even Peter Jennings reported it on the news the following day. Where do you think that canister came from? And other canisters have been found also. You're deluding yourself.

Stupid question. Just because I haven't been somewhere I can't know anything about a situation? Hey I've never been to Los Angeles. Is it there? Should I take the word of those that live there or is it not there until I see it? Have you been throughout the entire country of Iraq? Every mile?
But no I haven't been to Iraq. Which in way discredits my view on the situation. I have talked with those that have been there and have friends that were there. And not a one of them still agrees with this latest Wilsonian adventure
I agree, however, stockpiled WMDs were never considered the threat to America that many think.
The threat to America was always smaller amounts of WMDs delivered by suicidal terrorists.
Saddam ALWAYS retained the capability AND RECIPES to make small quantities of WMDs that could be handed off to terrorists.
