"Sicko" Dies a slow death (my title)
MSN.com | 7/1/07 | DAC21

According to MSN.COM it looks like "Sicko" has Died Hard as an animated Rat and Bruce Willis delivered a death blow to the Blowhard we love to hate.

"Sicko" will barely hang in the top 10 on it's opening weekend with less than 5 million dollars. Bad subject matter for movie goers, let alone people are onto his shtick

Loving it!

It’s about time people caught on. Or did they? Healthcare is NOT the #1 topic, as the demmies would have you believe. It’s immigration/amnesty! Numbers 1-10! This was proven this past Thursday. Global Warming is 322nd, just below acne.

Hey, the Rat movie was fantastic! My kids loved it! I would beat any Liberal Agenda movie any day!

9/11 was high in people’s mind when he released F9/11. Health care cost is not. Plus, people wanted to know what F9/11 was about. In Sicko, people already knew the whole agenda even before they watched it. Also, that Moore basically is praising Castro’s Cuba over the US, IMO, turns off many people.

All the KOOKS ran out to see it when it first came out to make the numbers look good. Fat *ss was telling Larry King how great the movie was doing in his so-called interview. Moore is such a liar proven by his last ‘movie’ distortion.

That Gorebull warming concert “Live Earth” is coming up in about 7 days....

http://www.liveearth.org/

My prediction is this concert is going to actually hurt their cause because people are going to see it as completely over the top, sort of like Paris Hilton being promoted relentlessly. It`s just going to seem completely out of place. Psychos trying to blow up London, Scotland, and libs are holding concerts about a climate hoax? Umm yeah, OK.

Moore’s claims in “Sicko” are so obviously false that even the hard-core lefties know he’s lying. Plus, I doubt that many of the deep-end moonbats have the price of a movie ticket. When you consider that $5 million in moonbat bucks have been taken out of circulation by this movie, you should smile. That’s 5 mil that edwards won’t get.

This movie isn’t a “success” now but the financial numbers will improve as Bravo becomes the Sicko! channel, airing it twice a day for months on end.

Plus repeated broadcasts from Sundance, etc.

Add to this the public library and school library purchases of the DVD for “required” school assignments.

It’ll show a profit. Eventually.

Any scary parts for small kids? The kids liked “Cars”, but the beginning of “Nemo” still gets the FF button in our house.

Of course they could’ve taken that $8 and given it to the Salvation Army instead and seen that SOMETHING charitable happened to their donation instead of sending it to Mike and Co.

LOL! $5 million? Ha! Serves it right. Not only is it boring, people really don’t care that much or they don’t like socialized medicine (your average citizen, that is, not the politicians). It’s usualy teens that go to the movies, and how many teens go out on Friday night to see a 2 and a half hour movie about health care?

This can not be true. Someone is lying as I have it on good authority from a DUmmie friend that said the opening weekend was great, in fact better than anyone could have hoped for...no kidding. He said that people in the hundreds of thousands crowded theaters to see this great movie. He said that this movie will solve our medical problems and make health care free for everyone. They live and vote, be afraid.

$5 mil!

A single house up the road from me costs more than that.

And this is a feature movie with trailers? Wow.

I don't think the actual box office numbers will stop the MSM from proclaiming this piece of crap the blockbuster of the summer on Monday morning.

Last week Larry King et al were in line like iPhone freaks for a chance to publicly blow Michael Moore.

I’d like to agree with you, but comparing it to a big budget movie is apples and oranges. It cost next to nothing to make, and like others have said will eventually turn a profit.

“Immigration Reform Bill” flops, “Sicko” flops, it’s a good week.
