My brother takes the Metrolink commuter train service into work every morning. He said there were bomb dog searches on his train in Santa Clarita and again in Glendale.
He has seen one dog before, but never two searches on one train during the commute. These were LASD dog teams.

I haven’t been on the DC metro since last weekend, but I probably will be on it at some point tomorrow. I will have to see if anything is noticeably different. Police presence has been stepped up throughout the city for a few weeks thanks to a surge in crime, so I haven’t noticed anything different on that front.
It's so unlike them not to be issuing even one alert...
Mass Transportation/Public Transportation has extra security because:
1. The heavy load of people using mass transport for the holiday season.
3. The terrorism-related events in the UK.
