If these descriptions are accurate, then these go beyond the realm of a practical joke and are clearly a probing of our defenses.

10 made ill by unknown chemical in Ann Arbor library, store
ASSOCIATED PRESS
ANN ARBOR, Mich. Ten people at a public library and an adjacent grocery store were sickened by some type of chemical, police say. Five were sent to an area hospital.
Ann Arbor police Sgt. Matt Lige said Thursday that the unidentified chemical agent was dispersed in a restroom at the library and somewhere in the Kroger store.
There is no indication this is terrorist-related, Lige said.
Ten people complained about respiratory irritation shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Five were treated and released from the University of Michigan Hospital. The others refused medical attention.
Ann Arbor police and fire officials planned to review surveillance photos and videotapes, Lige said.
