Homeland Security chief Michael Chertoff is blasting the U.S. Senate for failing to pass an immigration bill, and claims the federal government doesn't have the ability to enforce laws when it comes to illegals working in America.
"We're going to continue to enforce the law. It's going to be tough," Michael Chertoff said. "We don't really have the ability to enforce the law with respect to illegal work in this country in a way that's truly effective."

They’re not morons. They’re just bad folks who are not friends of the American people.

It won’t be long until there are a lot more terrorists here if we keep letting in Muslims. Just wait until the thousands of Iraqi refugees arrive. We’re already letting in a bunch of Muslims from Somali. Just one big, happy sharia family, eh?

Negotiate and try to find something positive to say about the terrorists. Bring them out of the shadows and give them lots of stuff.

Right! Can you imagine how long a general would last in command if he made a statement like that? At least he hope Mr. Bush would still have the resolve in that case, the kind of resolve he has shown about the war on terror, from the first days when he went to ground zero, and then the great Axis of Terror speech, back in those bitter days.

My congressman told me five years ago that the new Department of Homeland Security would handle the illegal invasion.

Just look how far we've come.

I think Bush should fire the Jerkoff. Not only that he needs to ask Congress for emergency funds to finish the entire fence...then we will see who the real back stabbers and weasels are in the country. Hunter has been saying for months now that He will run in 2008 on the fence being built...did he know the fence wasnt funded but just failed to tell everyone during the debate? He had everyone convinced, including Hannity that the money was there for the whole fence. I dont vote for anyone that uses such dirty tactics.

Chertoff is on Fox News right now I don't know why anyone gives him a forum to speak, when in reality he should be in the process of being prosecuted for aiding and abetting the illegal invasion of this country, not to mention extreme dereliction of duty.

Well Bush is a f-ing moron as well. Sadly, I can't argue with that statement.

If you think very many of those 20 million illegals were ever going to vote Republican you are living in Fantasyland. We need to enforce the laws, and if it means huge deportations, so be it. No one should be rewarded for breaking our laws. No one.
As for giving thanks for the Senate bill going down to defeat, you are quite welcome.
