Four men have been charged with trying to blow up fuel tanks and pipelines at John F Kennedy airport. A grand jury in New York on Friday indicted the men on five counts of conspiracy to bomb the airport.

The men, three from Guyana and one from Trinidad, were charged with conspiring to "cause death, serious bodily injury and extensive destruction".

Prosecutors say they have links with Islamist militants in the Caribbean and South America.

Russell Defreitas, Kareem Ibrahim, Abdul Nur and Abdul Kadir, a former MP for the Caribbean nation of Guyana, were all arrested earlier this month.

Defreitas, a former cargo worker at the airport, is to appear before a judge on 11 July.

The other suspects are currently fighting extradition in Trinidad.

If convicted, the men would face a maximum sentence of life in prison.

There won’t be much in the news about this. The media would rather report on “Paris Hilton”, a talentless slut, than about the real threat to civilized people from the middle eastern death cult.

And all this time I thought JFK was shot. Must have been a whole lot more happening on that grassy knoll then we ever knew about!
