Glad to see ya on this thread. I gotta drop it, though, cuz my head’s gonna explode if I have to read another post that paints All Muslims Evil All the Time and Everywhere. Somehow it was making an Islamicist of me to point out that we need certain people on our side who happen to be Muslim in certain Muslim countries that we’ve invaded and in another that we still might dismantle next. But, what the hell, being reasonable won’t soothe that itch when spew coming out the back side just feels so good.

So, by the logic of this thread, when the President speaks to an Imman, he’s one himself, and when he has the temerity to tell that Imman that he must “speak out against radical extremists” it would seem that he’s become one himself. It’s entirely disconnected from the world’s normal three dimensions. But no matter: get ‘em worked up over the latest slime oozing down Capitol Hill, make ‘em feel empowered for a minute and they start banging on the little red button in the black box, yelling out “bang! your dead!” Absent any and all responsibility it’s a fun game, but the self-abuse leads to a rather unbecoming foaming at the mouth.

Gonzo, we love this forum too much to let keyboad maniacs pretend play geopolitics with imaginary ray guns. Don’t raise the white flag yet, bud.
