Never did I think that I'd post something from MTV as serious news; but, I suppose that even broken clocks can be right twice a day. Loder's gonna get himself kicked out of the liberal club posting stuff like this!

Lincoln Steffens, Ida Tarbell and Upton Sinclair

Weren't Steffens and Sinclair communists?

Heavily “doctored” — HAW HAW HAW good way to say it. Hey we have a liberal here who still can think.

Well, Loder was a journalist (including editor of Rolling Stone) long before he was a V-J, but yeah, it’s rather surprising coming from any MSM author. Bravo.

Maybe he figures that his bosses at MTV are incapable of reading more than five paragraphs.

'Sicko': Heavily Doctored

Of course - Michael Moore made it, after all. And Moore knows exactly what he is doing. He knows there is a sizeable "I hate America!!!" minority of the population out there who will shell out the cash to watch their country being bashed, even if it is complete fiction. Moore plays on this and laughs all the way to the bank with these suckers.

"... nearly 1 million Britons are currently on waiting lists for medical care — and another 200,000 are waiting to get on waiting lists."

This wouldn't happen in Canada. We have top-notch medical care wait lists -- no waiting required to get your name on a wait list.

I retract my previous Rolling Stone comment.

Sinclair certainly was. IIRC, his intent in writing The Jungle was to foment a socialist revolution in the US; not to bring about the USDA. Instead of seeing how workers were mistreated in the novel, readers saw how their supper was mishandled. That mattered to them!

How about the Democrats do there own health care plan for any one that joins the party.. they can set up a tax/dues structure any way they want...the problem is they will not be able to force Americans that don't want...

I never would have dreamed that Kurt Loder of MTV would be a logical, rational, evidence based thinker. Good God he might even vote for a republican (some day).

Gotta give Loder credit for doing the research and ripping Moore’s propaganda screed into shreds.
