It seems our Mexican friends continue to bring us gifts. TB, quite common in cattle, was virtually eradicated in the U.S. prior to 1990 has made a dramatic comeback, along with bed bugs. I suspect it tracks closely to the number of illegals (many who live among livestock prior to coming to the US) crossing our borders and working in hotels, fast-food restaurants, and of course, attending our public schools. Next time you are in a McDonald's, or any other fast-food restaurant, ask yourself, does the person serving me my food have TB.

Do not forget working in people's homes as maids or nannies.

No one should be allowed to work in your home unless they have a doctor’s report showing they have been tested for TB. And you should choose the doctor, because illegals can buy any documents on the street for ten bucks.

My mom had a maid in their house when she was a child, the maid died of TB. My mom never showed any symptoms nor did she ever test positive, but every year when we used to get tested at school, I would show up positive and would have to go to the doctor for further testing, which always came out negative.
