Police and security sources say they found bomb components in a second car in central London hours after deactivating a device in the city’s entertainment district

Typical CNN take. So Europe can stop terrorism by giving future car bombers a pay raise. Yeah... that’ll help.

Come to think of it.... it may. Since they’re already using Mercedes, the extra dough may enable them to graduate from stolen Mercedes to stolen Rolls, and it’ll be easier to spot them.

They were covering it nonstop during the overnight (EDT) hours — CNN tossed to CNN International, Fox to Sky News. It now looks like they’re covering other stories, and I haven’t ween yet whether they’ve started showing commercials again.

be-an axle with the VIN was found in WTC part I which led to a name and storage facility rented in the perps name, IIRC..

Parts -- rear axles in both cases, I think -- were found in the WTC and OKC bombings. In WTC, the dumbass went back to the rental office, claimed the truck was stolen, and asked for his deposit back. In WTC, I think they'd used fake documents, so it was a little tougher to track them down.

It is believed that the vehicle was a silver Mercedes which contained gas canisters.

Once they've extracted evidence and the car is clean, I want the car. If the Moo's are going to throw away a perfectly good Mercedes sedan, then I want it. Keys, please.

British authorities were seeking three men Friday after police defused two car bombs that they said could have caused “significant injury or loss of life” in London.

The three men are believed to be from the Birmingham area, a center of radical Islamic unrest in Britain, U.S. officials who had been briefed on the developments told NBC News.
