I have avoided some of the British threads today because I suspect we will have some ridiculous comments about my country and happy ignorance that it could not possibly be the same in the US.

Whilst I agree that you do not have as much of a Muslim problem as we do because many of your Muslims are American first and Muslim second it is foolish to think that radicals do not exist in the US and that also some of the rhetoric is not going on inside your mosques and I get fed up with some of the ignorant comments regarding my country.

Ummmm snugs, loved your comments, but do you really mean them for me? My post of 233 was about Kaslin and her "war" on one of the threads about Jenna's book. Just curious since I had nothing to say regarding Muslims. Course I may be having one of my ever increasing senior moments and just forgot :-)

So true, snugs. We've had a combination of luck and deterrence by the Bush/Cheney admin. to keep us safe so far.
I hope all of the attempts in the UK are foiled, just as I hope that all of the ones here are. We need to stick together - just as we have ever since the little matter of the Revolutionary War. :-)
