We WON
What happened? Did Mitch McC get cold feet?
Is GWB going to take this lying down? Or is he joining EMK for a drink afterwards, they way Bob Michel did with the popular Tip O’Neill?
Webb does have his atributes and I am working VERY hard to find them .. this vote is a plus imo. Not sure I dislike him any more than I dislike Warner to be honest. God, do I miss George Allen. Nonetheless, will send thank you’s to let them know at least they have support from one VA voter.
Thanks for posting the roll call, but I’m most interested in the names of those who changed their votes once the outcome was foregone.
Not if the people of MA have anything to say about it — they would elect him if he were deceased if that were possible. People in MA believe in EMK and always will.
They all must have been lobotomized at birth!
Well he has a Vietnamese American wife which IMO is a plus, mine sure is. She'll certainly keep him from jumping headlong into kookey Rat causes and crusades.
The cocharoachas have gone back into hiding inside Bush’s barn.
>>We WON<<
1. I doubt the thing is really dead.
2. Killing this awful bill doesn’t fix the problem we started with.
Sorry to be so negative.
They’d never throw out their Teddy. He’s their remaining last vestige of Camelot so we’ll be stuck with this clown and his constant screwing of America until he drinks himself into the grave.
This is a new era in our Democracy. We couldn’t have done this without the power of the Internet.
NOW - Which are up for election in 2008?
Our next job is to TARGET THEM in their primaries.

GOOD GUYS up for re-election in 2008, deserve our $Support:
Sessions, Jeff (R-Ala)

Sam Brokeback, for one. He changed his vote on the floor as soon as it was clear that this vampire bill would fail.
Courage - thy name is Sam Brokeback. NOT.
Both if necessary.
bump
i expect the ny times headline to read bipartisan death for the immigration bill lol
Brownback has utterly destroyed his credibility as a Republican leader with this dual, Kerry-like vote. Yuck.
A wonderful victory for the American people!!! Our voices WERE HEARD!!!
Congrats to all who took part in this.
Many thanks are owed to Sessions, DeMint, and Vitter.
Three more calls to make, FReepers!
