I know I will walk away from the GOP table. I will vote 3rd party. This isn’t a simple rift as the corrupt GOP thinks it is, it is a deep crater that will destroy the party and destroy the USA that I love.

Sorry guys, I will never vote GOP again.

“Sorry guys, I will never vote GOP again.”

With all due respect, never say never. I remember when I was disillusioned with Nixon and his rather liberal political agenda, dishonesty and sucking up to Mao. I actually voted for a third party. I could not vote for McGovern. I nearly voted for Carter when Reagan lost the nomination to Ford. After Carter was elected, I realized that as mediocre as Ford was, as rotten as Nixon was, enabling the election of a Democrat is the WORST choice. Ross Perot convinced many to vote for he, and it helped to give us Slick.

Support good GOP candidates. Vote against bad GOP candidates. We won’t always win, but we will never win supporting a third party.

Sorry guys, I will never vote GOP again.

I've learned to never say never. What I won't do is support the party structure or support someone ~just because~ they wear the GOP label.

That's a big swing for me. Six months ago I was all on the bandwagon to support "whoever the nominee is." I'll still probably vote for the GOP candidate next year.

But the level of my participation at the grass roots level remains to be seen.

We need a Goldwater or Reagan again . . . We can help make that happen by ceasing to listen to main stream media and political commentators view of who is electible and who is not. Just work hard in the primaries and give in the primaries to the conservative and ignore the "slings and arrows" thrown at them.

Sometimes it ain’t about who you’re votin’ for, its about who you’re votin’ against.

A vote for Bush was a vote against AlGore or John Effin’ Kerry. No matter what my issues with Bush (and there are a LOT of them...) he’s still a better man and a better President than his rivals would have been.

That said, we do need to punish the GOP traitors, starting with Lott, Graham, and McInsane.

That is just plain insanity. By all means, don’t vote straight ticket, but to thank the hard work of people like Jeff Sessions, Duncan Hunter, Jim DeMint by saying you’d never vote for them? That’s beyond words...
