Sorry guys, I will never vote GOP again.

I've learned to never say never. What I won't do is support the party structure or support someone ~just because~ they wear the GOP label.

That's a big swing for me. Six months ago I was all on the bandwagon to support "whoever the nominee is." I'll still probably vote for the GOP candidate next year.

But the level of my participation at the grass roots level remains to be seen.

We see the direction the GOP is taking. I no longer look at anything that is happening as party politics.

The GOP and the Democrats look like each has the same goal and just merely fight over who gets to be in the driver’s seat.

Until people can see what is happening goes beyond party politics, they will be unable to wake up.

If you read George Washington’s farewell speech to the nation, he talks about his fears of “parties”. The speech describes all the dangers to look out for that are happening right before our eyes. We just didn’t pay attention to his warning.

I think the next elections won’t matter a whole lot if this bill passes. The GOP will have to mirror the Democrats just to have a chance.

Both options are deplorable now, and will be increasingly deplorable in the future.
