Increase your browser’s font size; the “key phrase” was “western civilization”, not “western culture”. Western civilization generally believes in individual freedoms and rights, capitalism, life, liberty, and the pursuit, etc. Skin color has nothing to do with it. Re-read that last line, and keep adjusting the font size until you get it.

Part of what "conservatism" is - and one of the reasons I joined the conservative movement - is the willingness to accept the realities and truths of the world. These realities and truths are not always pleasant, and - indeed - can often be in grating conflict with popular assumptions, contemporary mores and widely-taught doctrines.

Civilization springs from culture. And culture springs from race. Unpleasant truths, of course, particulary if you espouse them in "mixed, multicultural-indoctrinated" company. Why do you think the left is pushing "multi"-culturalism upon us so unrelentingly? And why - at the heart of their efforts - does there lie a hatred for all things "white 'n' western"?

The key documents of "western civilization" (and American culture and "the American Dream") are our Declaration of Independence, our Constitution, and our Bill of Rights. Of these documents, what was the national origin and the "skin color" of those who debated and wrote them, and hammered out the foundations of this nation for its first century?

They were overwhelmingly Euro-American males, of course. THAT's where our "American Dream" and our "civilization" came from.

Michael Savage (who I have NEVER listened to, I don't even know what the sound of his voice is like) was on-target. And so was the Freeper to whom your quote above was intended.
