Giuliani Slams Bill Clinton on Terrorism

What a hypocrite and con man. He's in favor of granting terrorists, posing as illegal aliens, amnesty.

"Most of [President] Clinton's policies are very similar to most of mine"

--Rudolph Giuliani, New York Post, Jun 8, 1999 (restating RWG quote from 1996 )
''I don't think tonight's result is tragic, I guess because I'm not that partisan a person ... I think President Clinton is a good man, he's a very decent man, and the country has run pretty well.''
--Rudolph Giuliani, commenting on Bob Dole's loss in the 1996 presidential election. New York Times, Nov 7, 1996

Giuliani argued that Clinton treated the World Trade Center bombing as a criminal act instead of a terrorist attack

Yup. That was a big mistake. So was not training all the first responders to work in concert in the event of another attack...but that job fell to whoever was Mayor of New York.

...his experience as mayor of New York has prepared him to be better at handling presidential responsibilities.

Huh? Was that from managing the NY City Dept of Defense? Establishing NY City energy policy? Acting as CIC over Bernie Kerik and his mob buddies? Your great immigration policy of sanctuary cities? What an idiot.

"The idea of trying to cast blame on President Clinton is just wrong for many, many reasons, not the least of which is I don't think he deserves it," Giuliani said during a stop in Florida.

Guiliani is just shameless. First he says he doesn't blame Slick,,,and now he does blame Slick? Which is it, Rudy?

wow - why such venom? Is his statement about Clinton wrong? Did you personally experience what Rudy did for NY? I did. he may not be my choice as a candidate, but I am not about to take that away from him.

wow - why such venom?

Because he's an opportunistic hypocrite, for one. He criticizes Clinton while ignoring the things that HE should have done as a result of the first WTC attack, the Empire State Building incident, etc. The guy is a phony authoritarian power-mongering poser. And a liberal, to boot!

I agree. Don't forget to add in recommeding Kerik to Pres Bush for Homeland Security. A lot of help there, too, Rudy. /s

Also, Rudy has stated that "Clinton did all that he could do in the WOT". (paraphrsaing) So why would anyone think Rudy would have done anything different (using Rudy's very own words)?

Rudy's 'anti-gun' attitude is another big plus in the WOT. /s

Good for Rudy..........I cannot believe how Bush has not said one word about the failed Clinton administration.
Spill it all Rudy, but watch your back and stay away from Marci Park.

I’m really not sure if Rudy is “liberal.” He’s pretty conservative ...

Conservative? Hardly! Set social issues aside. The man stomps all over the Constitution, daily! His "tax cuts" in NY were to the select few interests, while extending the income tax surplus (that had been set to expire) thereby continuing to provide revenue at close to the same level. He borrowed his way through his adminstration and he joined with Clinton and Janet Reno in calling for National Gun licensing.

Rudy might give me 20% of the things I find important. That ain't enough. There are other candidates that can do just as well on the WOT and on being tough. We don't need an authoritarian Giuliani and his corrupt, perverted cronies anywhere near the White House!

Giuliani/McCain electable? Not IMO. Nominate either one and the GOP will be sure to lose. The same goes for Newt, for other reasons.

20% is not a majority of issues. Rudy is left of many, many democrats. That makes him liberal in my book.

As to pinging others, they happen to be collectors of a vast number of facts that might help educate those, like yourself, who obviously have not delved deeply into the subject of Rudy. For example, I know of at least two excellent collections that Ellery has been keeping 1) on the questionable characters that Rudy appoints to high offices (e.g. crooks) and 2) a long list of abuses of the U.S. Constitution.

Does that help?
