More on the Verdict in Pearson v. Custom Cleaners
DC Court Finds For Defendants In The $54 Million Pants Suit
Talk About Being Taken to the Cleaners (AP)
In what had to have been one of her easiest decisions, D.C. Superior Court Judge Judith Bartnoff brought "the trial of the century" to its appropriate conclusion this morning.
In her decision, she found that Custom Cleaners does not owe Roy Pearson anything -- in fact he must pay Custom Cleaners' court fees. Additionally, "the defendants' claim for attorney's fees against the plaintiff will be addressed after the defendant's motions for sanctions and for attorney's fees have been filed and briefed by the parties." This means they may have to battle once again with Pearson, the emotional administrative judge responsible for this year's most frivolous lawsuit in order to recoup the thousands of dollars they have spent just to reach this point.

Roy L. Pearson is a black racist with an obvious hatred for Asians. It's a very common syndrome in the DC area, with the usual targets being Korean and Vietnamese retail shop owners.
Personally I've seen it played out several times as a bystander. As a Caucasian male, the "minority group" racists have occasionally confided their prejudices to me, not knowing that my wife is Asian.
But I've heard lots and lots of stories that are nearly identical to this one with Pearson, though usually they don't rise to the same level of infamy, which in this case is due to him being a judge, his apparent comfort with the legal system, and his insane fixation which is directly proportional to his racist hatred.
Just like this case, the problems are always fairly trivial and could be resolved with 30 seconds of reasoned discussion. But also like this case, the trivial problem that won't be be solved and the threats and intimidation that follow are a direct result of the black racist's hate for his presumed Asian tormentor. Obviously Pearson's reason has gone out the window and his racist hatred is running the show.
I'm very happy to hear that the Chungs are considering a civil rights lawsuit against this creep.
If Pearson was Caucasian his overt acts of racism would qualify him for membership in the KKK.
Anything for a laugh.
“Why didn’t it get tossed out during pre-trial motions?”
Probably not the case but I wonder if they were just giving him rope, so to speak. This guy is just bonkers and now everyone knows it.
Maybe because the judge wanted to give the Plaintiff as much rope as posisble to hang himself with.
Why, Angkor, I am completely dumbfounded by your assertions. Are you really saying that blacks are capable of racism and they are not the pure-of-heart victims that the Left and the MSM love to portray them as? I am floored, I tell you. FLOORED!
One of the major pieces of this suit was a signe that said satisfaction guaranteed, pearson claimed the sign was misleading.
I watched an ad for McDonalds yesterday and they were bragging on how big the “Big Mac” was, The sandwich they showed had meat showing all around the sandwich.
The picture they show at McDonalds has meat showing all around the sandwich.
I have gotten the “Big Mac” and I can vow from personal experience, that you cannot see meat all around the sandwich. You have to open the sandwich if you want to see the meat and it is so thin as to be almost see-through.
How come no one has sued McDonalds for showing one thing and serving another.
Well, yeah, okay, but you know, like, Asians are often rich and successful, and black people in Washington DC are, like, you know, poor and stuff, so it’s alright to stick it to then rich yellow dudes, y’know?
Race is an angle here or the Judge is insane.
With a mind like that, how come you arent a personal injury lawyer?
:-)
You would not believe the stories I've been told. And this is here, now, in DC Metro.
but here's a doozy from some years ago: I was trekking in Nepal, alone on the route and just outside of Junbesi. As I'm taking a short break up walks an Asian American woman and her apparent Caucasian boyfriend. They're from California.
After a few minutes of chit-chat she segues into a mini-rant about "racism in America", to which I'm thinking "Oh no, California lefties, how do I get out of here."
I give her another minute before I'm going to leave, and suddenly she reveals (paraphrase) "Yeah, I've had so many problems with American blacks and I don't know what it's all about, but it's racist. The same with my Asian friends."
It was the first time I'd heard that, but since then it's become a given, and something one might expect to hear. Unfortunately.
Yeah! Let's team up for a Class Action case !! Bring down Big Burger!!
The mental pain of disappointment, the physical detriment of calorie deprivation, the anguish, loss of sex drive.....
Do I have to add the [/joke] tag????
Because I am an undereducated Redneck.
But I can look at pictures and tell the difference between them and the burger Mickey D’s is putting out.
Checkers makes a pretty good burger, I go there. they even have a double up special some days. Where they sell two sandwiches for the price of one. That day my wife gets to eat too. LOL
As was reflected in the riots and arson of LA’s South Central. The blacks went out of their way to burn Korean businesses, often the only people who’d take the risk of providing goods to that community. Dumb Koreans, racist blacks.
Cont forget the Lie “ Seceret Sauce” its just Thousand Island dressing.
“black robe courtesy”
Do judges get speeding tickets?
Do judges getting divorces have their cases specially set at times when no other lawyers are around?
Do judges have their first year lawyer offspring having a leg up in job applications?
Maybe because the judge wanted to give the Plaintiff as much rope as posisble to hang himself with."
Yeah, but at WHOSE expense? The longer this was drawn out, the more the cleaner's owners had to shell out.
Thanks for "the rest of the story."
Is that you, Walter Williams?
