The primary vote was 48% Corker; 34% Bryant; 17% Hilleary.
Because there is no primary runoff, it allows RINOs to win. I’ll tell you right now I believe Hilleary was paid off to remain in the contest by Corker or his supporters, even though every Conservative in the state and many Republicans were screaming at him to get out, especially in the last week of the campaign when Corker was slipping in the polls. In a runoff, Bryant would’ve prevailed.
Right now, I wouldn’t vote for Hilleary for dog catcher for what he did in screwing Conservatives. It’s sickening we have to babysit Chattanooga Chafee Corker through EVERY SINGLE important vote, just to keep him from venturing off the plantation and voting his “RINO Conscience.” One Lamar! is one too many. Two Lamar!’s are worse than waking up buck nekkid next to Helen Thomas after a weekend bender. I will not for Lamar!’s reelection next year, period, I don’t care if he votes like Jesse Helms and Dr. Coburn from now on. I’ve had just about enough of those two bozos and the TN RINOstablishment.
Thanks, muchas.
We need a “Blacklist”, so to speak. McCarthy was Right, you know.
That’s interesting ....and clears up the mystery...
I live near Chattanooga, right next to Hillery’s 4th District...
I knew Van Hillery slightly and thought he was a good man and when he didnt drop out...it was puzzling why Van Hillery hung on like that...
Well, Corker’s primary victory last year was unfortunate. Still, he did right by the country this time.
The TN conservative grass roots desreves credit more than Corker did. It’s because of them that he got the message.
