The interesting thing I’ve noticed over the years is, the Salafist get a great deal of support when they are...over there, somewhere else, but when they start killing cloose to home and Muslims see what living under their rule is like...well they start singing a different tune. Part of the reason they have the support they have is so many governments in the Islamic world are corrupt (and don’t work very well. And something we have to face is the Salafist’s are very very good at propaganda, and are learning from their past mistakes
