How many must cross the border before you say enough is enough in the name of saving a dime or so on a bunch of grapes or oranges.

First & foremost, there aren't any true savings from employing low-skilled workers. The costs are the same, it's just the hidden social costs are shifted to the public. So, in effect, the so-called $1/head of lettuce is really $10/head if you factor in all other costs.

The biggest con by far are illegal dependent businesses shifting their costs to US.

The direct costs go up dramatically after you bankrupt all the farmers and drive them out of business. Hard to survive w/o farmers.
