CNN's "Reliable Sources" host actually asked their guest (some blonde lady with short, flat hair) why is there so much interest in Bloomberg and the different candidates at this time? She answered, "There's a real hunger out there..." He came back at her with, "A real hunger or a journalist hunger?" She answered with a sort of well...a journalist hunger...she admitted it!
We were flipping channels and heard it--couldn't believe our ears...or that we were watching CNN and heard this exchange.

"A real hunger or a journalist hunger?" She answered with a sort of well...a journalist hunger...she admitted it!So did Gwen Ifil. She said in essence that Bloomberg doesn't need people to be interested in his candidacy, he only needs us (i.e., the media).

I have ‘graduated’ from the predictablility of the trad Sunday shows to watching Reliable Sources. More unregurgitated opinions there than on the predictable shows. I also think that Wolf Blitzer gets more interesting guests than Wallace or Russert or Steffi or Sheiffer do.
These are the only two times that I ever turn to CNN.
