So you are saying that when the scriptures say that “Christ and the Father are one” that it means something different when the scriptures say “Christ, the Father, and we are one”. In other words, your view of the Trinity holds that they are the same being because the scripture says they are “one”, but it does not mean we are the same being when the scriptures say we with Christ and Father are one. Furthermore, there is no dissertation in the scriptures to parallel your philosophy. The concept of the “Trinity” is a 4th century invention and appears nowhere before that time.

When I used to be a Baptist, the preacher said the Trinity is like an egg - the yolk, the white and the shell. It’s a mystery. Ha!

By the way, when Mormons get baptized (by dunking), the Priesthood Holder says, “In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost” and down you go and there are two Priesthood holders who observe to make sure that you are completely covered. If not, you gotta get re-dunked.

The concept of the 'god was once a man' is a 19th century invention and appears nowhere before that time.
