AMBER ALERT 06/23/2007 CHLD (2): WHT ML, 10 YRS, 4’8” 80 LBS, BLND HR, BLU EYES; WHT FEM, 8 YRS, 4’4” 60 LBS, BLND HR BLU EYES, SUSP: DARREL STULL, WHT ML, 36 YRS, 5’11” 150 LBS BLND HR, BLU EYES, WEARING BLUE T-SHRT AND BLUE JEANS. IF SEEN CALL 911
The Pennsylvania State Police has issued an Amber Child Abduction Alert on behalf of the Pennsylvania State Police, Corry Station, Crawford County.
The Corry Station of the Pennsylvania State Police is searching for two children who were taken on June 22nd, 2007 from 22410 Little Cooley Road, Union City, Crawford County, Pennsylvania. The children are described as Tyler James Stull, a white male child 10 years old, 4 feet eight inches tall, 80 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes and Amanda Lynn Stull, a female child 4 feet 4 inches tall, 60 pounds. The clothing worn by the children is unknown. They were reported abducted by Darrel Robert Stull, a white male, 5 feet 11 inches, approximately 150 pounds, blonde hair and blue eyes wearing a blue t-shirt and blue jeans. Darrel Stull may be armed with a pistol.
Anyone with information about this incident should immediately contact the police by calling 911.
This has been an Amber Child Abduction Alert for the Corry Station of the Pennsylvania State Police, Crawford County.
Affected Counties: Crawford, Mercer, Venango, Warren, Erie

It would be helpful if we knew what kind of car Mr. Stull might be driving. Hopefully the good men of the PSP will update with further information.
It should be noted, technically, that Corry IS in Erie County, but the PSP barracks handling the alert is in Crawford County, and the abduction site, Union City, is also in Erie County.
The phrasing of the alert is quite muddled, actually.
Not enough history given to show whether that is the case, or whether it is just a custody dispute.

Even if it is “just a custody dispute” PSP believes a very high level of danger. This one came directly from the Troopers at Corry.

This report hasn’t made it to the CodeAmber, Amber Alert System yet. Did they cancel the alert?
For those who are upset about the male abductor having the same name...they should keep in mind that it could be an uncle or other male relative. We shouldn’t *not look* for the children simply because the abductor has the same last name.
The state patrol has already made that decision, which is why they issued an Amber Alert. Probably has a lengthy history of violent behavior or mental illness or both.
