A newspaper in Washington state announced yesterday it was dumping the "The Ethicist" column of New York Times writer Randy Cohen after he was fingered for forking over campaign cash to the liberal MoveOn.org.

The Spokane Spokesman-Review had planned to start running Cohen's nationally syndicated column today but instead spiked his prose from its pages after learning of the payout.

I would’ve thought they’d have given him a medal or a merit badge or Order of the Red Banner or something. They’ll rehire him at one of their other companies six months from now on the QT.

What’s most amusing is MSNBC was the media outlet that broke the story.... Media members being 90%+ liberal is nothing shocking at all... so I’m shocked MSNBC even published it since their own news room would not pass an ethics examination.
