A rough and tumultuous section of Pakistan. The Pak gov't doesn't much if any control over it.

Understatement of the day.
Air shark!
Yup.
Back during the Soviet war, Hek pretty much owned the Parrot’s Beak crossing area (west of Parachinar).
Haqqani worked Zhawar Killi, the Khost area.
Osama bought and paid for the crossings west of Miram Shah, call it...the Shawal Valley, with daddy’s money and dozers.
Been looking for him to turn up around these parts since day one.
It’s home to him.
In 50% of the numerical sims I run, either he or Ayman slips any noose drawing tight, a loss for the good guys, no matter how you slice it, and I’d guess bigger computers agree. This will be done on old fashioned, and maybe a little new fashioned detctive work.
Ending in a Nek type surprise.
