OK, fellow Freepers, try not to throw your computer through the wall!
Many apologies if this has been posted already, but I searched "Illegal Immigration", "Dobbs" and "Cohen & Grigsby" before posting this YouTube video; and just in case, I couldn't let this pass...
This, IMHO, is the epitome of digusting, traitorous attorneys at work. This is a clip of a legal seminar on how to exclude qualified U.S. citizens from legitimate job postings in their own country. Who are these people!!!?!??!?! I have to say, that I am absolutely ashamed of the fact that I share the same hometown as these scoundrels. They should have their citizenship revoked at a minimum. But of course, if they did, they would probably be more employable at the clients who follow their sick, twisted advice.
Before you take a day off from work to go to that next job interview, keep in mind that it may be a law-firm generated job scam; designed specifically to exclude Y-O-U, who would demand a market wage, and instead, employ an (possibly illegal???) immigrant, who indebted to the employer, will work for a below-market wage.

What do you expect when our POTUS encourages this kind of thing to happen?
You are oh-so correct.
So sorry, all. I legitimately searched likely terms; and found nothing.
If anything deserved re-posting...

I guess I’ll have to learn to speak Spanish, and change my last name to Garcia Y Vega :(
Yeah, it’s pretty disgusting but so is our government these days. With lawyers you can expect the worst because you didn’t elect them. It hurts when you vote for someone and they knife you in the back.
Before you go off half cocked at lawyers, remember they only provide a service. It's capitalists who demand cheap labor. It's labor that demands higher wages. It's the corrupt middlemen between labor and capital who spread the smoke and mirrors in order to take payoffs and kickbacks for their personal interest at the expense of your interest. Why are unions sitting on their hands? Payoffs to union bosses? Why are politicians ignoring the will of the majority? Payoffs maybe? Why are insurance companies only too happy to increase auto and medical insurance to fund the costs of illegals accidents and medical care? More money for them maybe? Lawyers are just low level middlemen. The Cubans knew how to deal with them during the Florida recount. A little roughhousing made Gore's lawyers crap their pants and leave town.
The bigger nut is cracking the first and second tier capitalists who are well connected, cleverly positioned at key positions in industry and government posts important to their economy and in NGO posts - UN organizations, Foundations, CFR, TLC, and so on. They rig the market so that those who can and are willing to work provide the labor and those who can't or are unwilling to work are pampered with benefits. It's the capitalist's vision of Marxism.
To them it's a game who can accrue the most money and power and then set up trusts for their heirs and keep the people distracted. Just leave enough money for the middle-class to keep them from rioting.
Somebody needs to mention to Karl Rove that it is the legal immigrants from Mexico that vote Republican not the illegals.
Whose hand is in this?

Money Quote:
"Our goal is clearly NOT to find a qualified U.S. worker... our objective is to get this person a green card ... so certainly we are not going to try to find a place where applicants would be most numerous."
-Lawrence M. Lebowitz - VIce President of Marketing, Cohen & Grigsby
Complete quote in context: And our goal is clearly not to find a qualified and interested U.S. worker. And you know in a sense that sounds funny, but its what were trying to do here. We are complying with the law fully, but ah, our objective is to get this person a green card, and get through the labor certification process. So certainly we are not going to try to find a place [at which to advertise the job] where the applicants are the most numerous. Were going to try to find a place where we can comply with the law, and hoping, and likely, not to find qualified and interested worker applicants. -Lawrence M. Lebowitz - VIce President of Marketing, Cohen & Grigsby

I have heard of other scams, too - like how to fall off a ladder at the home of a prominent home-owner that hired an illegal to clean the rain gutter, trim tree branches, paint some trim, tack shingles, etc.
If they are sure no one is looking, they can lay on the ground by the ladder, then scream for help, crying that they fell off the rickity ladder, and then complain of neck injury (that can never be proven by x-ray or scan) They then proceed to sue the home-owner for everything he’s got. They ALWAYS win - thanks to the free legal representation -(Then go on SS disability for the rest of their life, with the checks in their Mexican mailbox every month, and the hefty insurance settlement from the home-owner’s insurance company.)
Another one - I have heard, is that two will scope a parking lot at a large shopping center and find an expensive car. Then, hide, a couple cars over, wait for the driver. When the car backs out, one throws himself against the rear fender, falls on the pavement, screams of neck pain. The other, screams, (in broken English), “You ran over my friend!” See above for the consequences.
I’ve seen it.
After watching it, I’ve started noticing ads that appear to be those aimed more at compliance than actual hiring. The arrogance of this individual, and his complete lack of ethics is pretty remarkable, even in context.
These types of ads are similar to the government ads for bid requests, even though everyone knows the fix is already in on who gets a contract.
It's very odd that they would have a camera on hand to record that. You'd think that any employer in the audience would walk out of there at that point rather than risk being party to such treason....but I guess it's possible that they are that stupid.
It seems that you don't even understand the issue here.
You’ve “heard” these things, huh? Well...it mUST be true then,
They have been doing this for years. That’s why there are more contract people usually placed in jobs by employment agencies. It’s almost impossible to find a job anymore with going through one.
Oh exactly. It’s not just Mexicans who are outraged. Imagine spending all that money, and waiting in limbo for years, then these bums get a free pass!
This just sucks :(
The attorney in question is well known in the immigration world.
It’s a shame but this government is screwing it’s own people first to gain favor with large political donors.
Stupidity opening yourself to all that liability.
