Got to try one out today; glad the Razr V9 is coming out this fall, as I need a new phone. It won’t be an iPhone. The full touch screen is a beauty to look at, really nifty to play with, but close your eyes and try to make a call...

Seriously; if you’re thinking of getting this phone, take a good test of it before you plonk down the money and get locked into the contract, and absolutely ask about second thought provisions in the contract as well. You’ll want 30 days to make sure this is exactly what you want.

Beyond this issue, it’s a very nice phone. Bluetooth implementation is great, sound clarity is one of the best I’ve ever tried, it fits right into the hand, and I was paranoid about scratching the screen, but it seems as sturdy as my Dell. But I get to dial by touch far too often to go for it.

And probably better speakers. If you use most cell phones on the speaker phone setting, the sound quality tends to be pretty poor.

I have heard concerns that the battery is not replaceable... wonder what sort of hardware guarantees come with the iphone.
