Seriously; if you’re thinking of getting this phone, take a good test of it before you plonk down the money and get locked into the contract, and absolutely ask about second thought provisions in the contract as well. You’ll want 30 days to make sure this is exactly what you want.
Beyond this issue, it’s a very nice phone. Bluetooth implementation is great, sound clarity is one of the best I’ve ever tried, it fits right into the hand, and I was paranoid about scratching the screen, but it seems as sturdy as my Dell. But I get to dial by touch far too often to go for it.
It’s being reported that the screen is glass and not plastic, so it should be scratch resistant, I would think. I also read another article about the AT&T engineers testing it for the last several months and the sound quality was a bit lacking (before), and Apple corrected it to what it sounds like now. I’m glad to hear the sound clarity is good now.
I know I’m gonna love the iPhone and also the integration with my computer, too. I can’t wait...
