Diversity of opinion? No

I didn’t know this was the United States of Socialism.....

I do believe we need to rid our selves of these types of people, especially in our Government.....

President George W. Bush is our leader not President Putin!!!

Unfortunately it appears that some republicans also think something needs to be done about the media as well.

As a last, firewall, line of defense I seriously doubt the current USSC would uphold the blatently unconstitutional “fairness doctrine”. The idea that one could even define “fairness” much less implement it impartially is crazy.

>>>>Budding facists? More like full blown Marxist facists!<<<

For future reference, Communist, Democrat, Liberal, Socialist, Marxist, and Facist shall be substituted with “Progressive”

Family Values, Traditional, Conservative, Republican, Moralist, and Patriot shall be substituted with either “Racist”, “Imperialist”, “Mean Spirited”, or “Right Wing”

That concludes today’s lesson.

LOL, you think talk radio is up in arms over this immigration bill? Wait until congress threatens their jobs. This will blow up big time more than anything ever has before. Blatant censoring of free speech. I cant believe it. Not only is it the left, Trent Lott said something similar last week about this. What the hell is wrong with our senate?

I don't believe that these two busybodies have any idea what they are up against. Should they even try it, the backlash would be unbelievable. They can not possibly silence all of the conservative voices on the internet and talk radio, so they would not be able to sneak this by the American public. Even liberals who are not rabid partisans would see this as an assault against the first amendment.

They also wanted anyone with an audience of 500 that tells them to call their Congressman has to register as a lobbyist. My paper has a minimum of 5,000 subscriptions.

It will be if we just vote these little primadonnas out and get some real statesmen in the Senate. Who in the heii do they think they are? Did they stay in a Holiday Inn last night? Come on, let’s get rid of the bums once and for all guys!

The last thing I would want to take a chance on is that to put our faith in the USSC (even the current one) that they would rule against an atrocious law like this "fairness doctrine".

Who would have ever thought that the McCain-Feingold (un)Reform Campaign Act would have ever been upheld in the USSC as a blatant attack against our 1st amendment free speech rights. Even dumbo Pres GW Bush admitted when he signed this act, that he expected the USSC to strike it down as unconstitutional. Which again begs the question raised thousands of times in bewilderment? Why did GW Bush sign a bill in the first place that he considered to be unconstitutional? Just another of many betrayals by GW Bush to conservative principles, the Republican Party and most of all, our country.
