The guy is smooth but he's also a slimeball. Watch what he does not what says. He and the rest of the Arizona Republican Party opposed Proposition 200 that required proof of citizenship before people could vote or receive government benefits. They also refused to support Randy Graf and any other candidate who spoke the truth on illegal immigration.

Read my FR homepage. Time to clean out the freaking big tent. At this point, since we are going to lose in ‘08, I’d rather get it right for ‘10 and ‘12.

have chosen to ignore some of the facts, and stress some things that were incorrect.

Name one, Senator..

John Kyl changed BIGTIME on the immigration issue. I can remember a time when I saw him in the same light as Jeff Sessions.

No more.

The man has completely sold out.

JK: Well, not all talk radio is quite that constructive.

I will agree with him there....but at least on talk radio the subject of the discussion generally gets the chance to go on air and defend himself. You can't do that on the nightly news.

Why would they all gang up on talk radio, just because so many people oppose their amnesty bill? And that W led the way with the criticism? I hate to see this expanding, but I think we have to stand up for truth even if it means thrashing some of our (ex?) friends.

Senators Kyl, Lott, etc, have forgotten that they represent us, they do not rule us.

It's time to refresh the Liberty Tree.

He is correct about the disinformation.

But what he does not say is that they are the ones putting out the disinformation.

Kyl calls talk radio liars

This lashing out by the traitors tells me they're in trouble and desperate, as they should be.

Those of us opposed to the immigration/amnesty bill have been accused of being venomous and hateful. Hell, we got nothing on John Kyl, Lindsay Graham, etc.

Does these guys have any frickin’ idea how madly this bill will tear the GOP apart? The rips and tears are starting to appear now.

They must harbor some illusion that (a) we (the rank and file) will forgive and forget and/or (b) that these immigrants will be so grateful that they’ll all start voting GOP.

If Kyl’s prediction is right about them getting enough votes to break cloture, we are in BIG TROUBLE!

“there is so much misinformation”

The good Senator doesn’t lie about everything — this is a true statement. That he claims the misinformation is coming from other than the supporters of amnesty is dishonest, of course. So, at some level he’s honest, just not honest enough for me.

The only propagandists here are you and your allies Kyl.

You have destroyed your reputation, and I sense nothing but bitterness. What? Did you think we’d honestly forsake our country and conservatism because you agreed to be used as a token for Bush and kennedy? You aren’t that important to us senator. If Rush and sessions agreed to represent this bill we still wouldn’t relent. but they aren’t so willing to sell out.

And if you’d had one ounce of integrity in your being you’d have revealed the slimeball you are during the election last year.

And yet hewitt wrote a column defending this snake.
