Those of us opposed to the immigration/amnesty bill have been accused of being venomous and hateful. Hell, we got nothing on John Kyl, Lindsay Graham, etc.

Does these guys have any frickin’ idea how madly this bill will tear the GOP apart? The rips and tears are starting to appear now.

They must harbor some illusion that (a) we (the rank and file) will forgive and forget and/or (b) that these immigrants will be so grateful that they’ll all start voting GOP.

If Kyl’s prediction is right about them getting enough votes to break cloture, we are in BIG TROUBLE!

Should this keep up, and this Amnesty BS sees the light of day... I may be going FISHING the first Tuesday in November.

Backstabbers. They are all deluded. People from the right and left are getting sick of the real problem: elitists who lie to us and take us all for fools. The elitists are mad, because they're getting those "Bush pesos" contributions to the RNC/DNC.

They're desperate because we the sheeple are onto them. There is a quiet revolution going on, and they are running scared, because they have lost control. They pushed us too hard, backstabbed us once too often, and lost their base. This time we will neither forgive nor forget, nor will we give them one red cent!

They could always jump back to the Demonrat party just before filing for office in time for their next election cycle. One big happy tent party over there. LOL.

I agree. I never thought I would be so negative concerning the GOP. I talked to life long repubs and new repubs who are fed up, most all conservatives. We have to get these people out of office. They don’t represent us.

My husband, who was initially all for legalizing illegals, and he’s more conservative than I am, saw the truth the other day. We hammered this out often for months (in a nice fun way). I still don’t think most see it this way.

I've come to believe that they don't care about either (a) or (b) - the question is just what is (c)?

Maybe only because I've lost so much respect for the political class - I don't think it is anything as grandiose as North American Unification, more like plain old short term self interest.
