If a terminally ill patient was flying low at a high velocity on an intended collision course with a building I guess the right thing to do would be to shoot them down.
I just hope their hospital gown is closed at the back. It would be very undignified to be shot out of the sky while mooning the general population.
Or I guess Hawkeye in “The Last of the Mohicans” was a murderer when he shot the British major to keep him from being burned to death at the stake? (for those unfamiliar with the story - flames were actually licking at his body - not talking about theory of what should be done here but what had to be done)
