Less than a year into Bush's second term, the President's approval rating was down around 40 percent. And going lower! Bush and Rove did squander the majority. They are a large part to blame.

Lets add repubs big spending, waffling on Iraq, foley and corruption. There is plenty of blame to go around and it looks like the dems will be the majority for awhile

It wasn’t just Bush and Rove. The GOP in Congress, in particular appropriators like Ted Stevens that can’t stop spending. Also John McCain crossed the aisle many times to vote with RATS, and in particular push through his fake campaign finance reform.
We need more GOPers like DeMint, Coburn and Sessions.
