An advance man for former Gov. Mitt Romney who was once cited for driving a sedan illegally tricked out with police gear - including lights, sirens and a badge - is again under fire after a run-in with a newspaper reporter.
New York Times [NYT] reporter Mark Leibovich wrote last week that he was pulled over by an earpiece-wearing aide, who the Romney campaign confirmed was longtime aide Jay Garrity. Leibovich wrote that he was led to the shoulder on a back road while following Romneys SUV between campaign stops in rural Dover, N.H.
Garrity told Leibovich they ran his license plate and explained that no one was permitted to follow Mr. Romneys vehicle, Leibovich wrote of the May 29 incident.
Its illegal in New Hampshire for a private citizen to run a license plate or to pull over a vehicle.

Why would Romney keep a wannabe cop on his payroll? The guy is a creep!
Maybe because Romney thinks laws are for the little people?
(Of course now Coupe Deval is trying to make Mitt look good by comparison.)
Maybe the Romney campaign is just doing whatever it takes to win. After all, spending gadzillions of dollars in a tiny state, and only leading by single digits, has got to be frustrating.
Melchizedek High Priest-future god already exercising his vast “authority.”
LOL;
Christ is my only Melchizedek!
I don’ trust Romney either, he’s a wolf, I believe!
When you are worth half a billion lets see if you hire private security.
The MSM is digging deep. I wonder what the backgrounds of Clinton's or Obama's private contractors and campaigners hold?
Oh wait, well never find out.
However the Bible itself does not limit the Title Melchizedek only to the Savior. It referred to as an "order".
Gen. 14: 18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
Ps. 110: 1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. 2 The LORD shall send the arod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. 3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. 4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
Heb 5:4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. 5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. 6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; 8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; 10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
But is it illegal in New Hampshire for a private citizen to tell someone that you ran a license plate after pulling over a vehicle?
In the spirit of Ted Kennedy’s guards with their illegal submachine guns.
Yes it is illegal.
More on the whole thing here.
