And then, as I clicked Submit, I remembered...

"Well, it could be worse. We could be living in a full-blown Socialist paradise (hellhole), like Venezuela or Zimbabwe or Washington, DC."

The Union of Americans sick and tired of sending Ameican dollars into Red China to be used for military equipment to kill us in return for cheap garbage because I can’t find anything made in America anymore AND the Union of Americans who doesn;t want illegal aliens coming here to steal those jobs still left here from Americans.

Are you a Wal-Mart Executive?

How long? Since her hubby left office and she didn’t have leverage anymore?

If you sleep with pigs you get to smell like them.

These international vendors of cheap junk aren’t our friends. They owe no allegiance to America. They only salute profits and they don’t care where or how they get them.

Eventually the Communists and third worlders they are using will turn on them AND us.

So do I. I’d liquidate the company or force them to buy American.

As I said, do some research.

Apparently you are willing to allow the liberal left wing enviro-whacko union thugs to control our country and thus chase all of our manufacturers and other businesses off shore.

You find me a retailer that sells NOTHING made elsewhere. It’s not going to happen, except with specialty retailers, I should know, I’m one of them.

I need to feed and clothe my family, keep a roof over our head and maintain that roof and everything under it, and I have a budget to keep. The feeding I can handle, but the rest becomes difficult when one does what is expected out of individuals, not the government, and that is spend within ones means.

Unlike you, I am not independently wealthy, nor have unlimited time on my hands to run here, there and everywhere to make sure I never darken my door with products made outside of the US.

Government force?

How do you force a company to buy to sell products that are American made, when the manufacturers aren't making in America?

As we say around here, "You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Wal-Mart!" LOL!

A number of years ago when I was on the island of Kauaii and had a "bathing suit malfunction" I was very happy to find a Wal Mart tucked away, very unobtrusively, on Hawaii's "Garden Island."

Well, the manufacturers should have been told by the Federal government that if they took American jobs overseas, they would not be permitted to sell their garbage products here without the imposition of a tariff so onerous that no one here would think of buying the material. It started with the manufacturers, but businesses like Wal_mart, Home Depot, etc, aggravated the situation by demanding ever cheaper junk to sell to a gullible public at rates marginally lower than what they paid before, or in some cases, even higher once they knocked the competition out of business.

I have seen Home Dept do this. They drove out of business small mom and pop hardware stores which sold quality products at a fair price and provided knowledgeable assistance, then raised the price on their cheap third rate garbage hawked by people with marginal knowledge of the stock.

Its a fact, I saw it. It has happened.

This isn;t the American dream, its an American nightmare.
