That's because Jr remembers when drivers were a lot more aggressive. A lot is made of Jr, but I don't think Tony Stewart gets enough credit for reminding some of us old folks of the way it used to be. Drivers used to race for every position, now they are content with midfield.
I get tired of these namby-pamby drivers that are happy with 10th or 15th or 20th place. They find a spot on the track and they are content - they don't care if they move up a few spots. Dale Earnhardt Sr. - there was a reason why he was called the Intimidator - I didn't care for him, but I liked that if he was 20th and had 5 laps to go, he was going to try and pick up 18th or 19th.
Then again, the kind of money NASCAR drivers are making these days, I could settle for a mediocre position in the race and laugh all the way to the bank.
