Though his potential martyrdom is something we all may be able to rally around, They're a discredit to their cause unfortunately. They might rally other loonys.

Wow! I'm surprised by this...I wonder why he named his book "Every Knee Shall Bow" if he is an atheist. His book insinuated he was religious...

LOL Weaver doing Gritz. I thought he was supposed to be such a nonviolent victim not an anti-government Aryan Nation hate monger.
When he slips and calls them the ZOG itll all be a dejavu.

"If I lived in NH, Id probably go down there with sandwiches and drinks for these guys." In that case, please stay where you are. We have enough home-grown lamebrains here already.

He visited the Browns hilltop home to raise the specter of the botched federal raid and lend his celebrity to the tax evaders cause.
Everybodys made him a hero and he was really just a delusional nutjob thats seeking 15 more minutes.
Be looking for him to open t-shirt stands and book tables at the front gate.

I guess you’re one of those NH people who resent the Free State Project too?

“Weaver said during a news conference on the Browns front porch. I aint afraid of dying no more. Im curious about the afterlife. And Im an atheist.
A word of advice... have a supply of Sunblocker 5000 when you die... it’s going to be a little warm where you are going Mr. Weaver. I pray you find Jesus before that day!

Okay, so where’s the logical breakdown? If you’re a FSP supporter, you should have no problem with this.
These people are demanding economic freedom from an unjust and anti-American tax system, and they don’t care if they die in the process.
Sound pretty darn Boston Tea Party to me.
Remember, this nation was founded on an armed tax revolt.

"Then move to a country with no income tax"Our ancestors tried moving to a new country. Oppression followed them. Fortunately, they fought for and won the freedoms we take for granted today.

One minute its "
come and get us our cause is righteous!" and the next the government is a "mudering batch of jack booted thugs" because someone got hurt. Hypocrites.
At least dont drag your kids and wife into your madness.
BTW do you think roads and dams and Defense Forces self perpetuate? Pay your share!
Work to change the laws through the proper channels if you feel wronged, quite stomping and screaming about guns and revolt, it cheapens your argument and only benefits your "enemy".
To: DainBramage
dude— I’ve posted this all over the thread- it’s the ultimate solution, and the one I endorse.

When you sympathize with these people you dont seem all that much different. "Come and get me...Im for (place hyperlink here)No Tax/Fair Tax."
I wouldnt associate with these nutjobs in anyway if you want to be taken seriously. JMO
To: DainBramage
I’m not associating with them at all. I live in FL, and I’m not a tax protester.
But their complaint is correct, as were our Founders.

And Im an atheist. The funny thing is that Brown says he only answers to God, and not the government. He's on a mission from God to do "the right thing". So I wonder why Weaver didn't tell him he's on a mission from a nonexistent entity and hence A KOOK?
To: ovrtaxt
But their complaint is correct, as were our Founders. Our Founders beef was "No Taxation WITHOUT Representation.", not "No Taxation period." Out Founders put in Article I of the Constitution this little phrase "The Congress shall have the power to lay and collect taxes". So save the fantasyland bull that they did not believe in any taxes..
P.S. I HATE taxes.
