It’s another example of bad judgement in personnel selection by Rudy.
Who was the Homeland Security guy he boosted to Pres Bush?
Bernard Kerik (who was promoted from Giuliani's personal bodyguard and limo driver to New York City Police Commissioner).
When his DHS nomination fell through (it turned out that, in addition to not being remotely qualified, Kerik employed illegals (like Linda Chavez), was under investigation for tax evasion, and it came to light that Kerik took control of an apartment donated for the recovery efforts at Ground Zero, using it as a rent-free "love nest" to meet with his whores), it was Rudy who boosted Chertoff ("people against shamnesty are Mexican-lynching racists who hate freeeeeeeedumb").
Fruity Giuliani - America's manager.
>> Boy, Rudy can pick them, cant he? <<
Of course if you guys are going to tie to this to "Bad judgement" of Rudy, let's not forget Ravenel was the no. #1 choice of the Lindsey Graham bashers to be their "true conservative" standard bearer to challenge Graham in the 2008 primary. Go on any Lindsey Graham thread from a couple of monthes ago if you don't believe it.
What does this say about THEIR judgement? Not to mention the fact the guy they touted as a "True conservative" was working for Rudy. So when Graham agrees with us 90% of the time, that's not good enough, but when Ravenel is trying to elect a guy who agrees with us 10% of the time, that's just fine.
Have you entertained the thougtht that the Graham-haters on FR just might care more about how a candidate looks and sounds on TV than the candidate's actual "record" in office? Might explain why Fred Thompson voted the exact same way as Graham as office, but they want to give him a promotion.
