More power to you ... don’t think it will pass.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Even if it doesn’t pass it is a good thing , not only for advancing the concept of personhood but for giving the pro-death crowd one more chance in front of the cameras and microphones to show how absurd they and their positions are.
I agree and will even raise awareness of this effort within my church and to my church leaders. Perhaps there will be enough of a grass roots effort that the baby killers will have to spend lots of money to try and defeat the issue.

From the moment of conception until the moment of death, ALL PEOPLE have inalienable rights and these rights come from God, not government and it is the function of government to protect these rights.

I think that talking about whether the preborn should have rights, and whether it is a person or not will allow us to frame the issue in a way that could lead to great results. Anything is possible with God.
.
Just look at an ultrasound of a preborn baby, and you will see he/she is a PERSON!
| Life begins at conceptionNOT birth. Birth is one day in the life of a person who is already nine months old. |
The operative word being "person" as defined by the Declaration of Independence, The US Constitution and subsequent Amendments.
It seems the briefest way to encapsulate the whole position in an easy to remember two sentences. Please feel free to forward it around. It would be cool to see it spread like a web virus.

Thanks Lesforlife.
Blackmun himself stated in Roe v. Wade, If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellants case, of course, collapses, for the fetus right to life would then be guaranteed specifically by the Amendment. And the pro-aborts agreed: Blackmuns next statement is, The appellant conceded as much on reargument.
good for you! God bless you.
This amendment assures gay/lesbian equity.
good for you! God bless you.
Good news.
Good. I’m glad it’s being presented as an equal rights issue. It’s in-line with this nation’s desire for civil rights for all.
And the text takes away the inane talking point of the far-left pro-aborts as to what a “person” is, which they use to justify de-humanizing the preborn child in order to justify the termination of said child.
