Nothing harmful..Quercetin is a polynuclear aromatic flavonoid that gets its name for the Latin for "Oak".

It's even touted as an herbal cure. Comes from oak bark, tea, etc...

It's called called tannin and it's a naturally occuring chemical in tree roots and leaves that causes river water to turn brown.

I am astonished that there are people who still swallow this rubbish. The only reason the Indianms didn't despoil the environment any more than they alredaybdid, was they never evolved any technology to speak of. They did manage to wipe out the indigenous horse population before the arrival of the White Man however, which was no little feat of environmental degradation.
