Big difference. In the primaries both left and right tack to the base. In the general, the lefty will vote for a Democrat regardless. The Conservative stays home or votes on the issues only.
The RATS know this and it is why they do it. They exploit our principles just like they exploit their base. We refuse to hit the RATS on the nose with a paper and tell them to stop because we are afraid it would hurt their wittle feelings.
We better stop being wussies and start getting dirty. It is an eye for an eye and I am sick of getting poked.
There’s one other factor the Democrats have to consider; they don’t have GW Bush to run against, or anybody from his administration. He should have lost the electoral college vote both times, but even with media strongly against him, he won both elections. No matter how far left the Democrat wants to go in the primaries, the American voter is more conservative than the DNC.
