Email | June 17,2007 | The Hunter Family

Posted on 06/17/2007 11:06:39 AM PDT by rob21

This is an email that I got from info@gohunter08.com. I asked them if it was ok to post this here, and they approved:

Dear Rob21, We wanted to say thank you for all your time spent working on posts for Duncan on Free Republic. It's grassroots Americans like yourself that are making a huge difference in this race. We appreciate your efforts and we hope you can continue to write about Duncan. We will keep you in our prayers as you leave for Iraq this July. Thanks again for everything! Sincerely, The Hunter Family

>...don’t understand what will happen on June 30th. Why are donations so important before that date?<

Thank you, Cindy, for your generous support, and for your great question.

June 30 is the date when reports on contributions must be received by the Federal Elections Committee. At that point, depending on the amount of contributions, a candidate’s rating may accelerate to a higher tier.

We absolutely want (and he absolutely deserves to be) Duncan Hunter to move up to the top tier of candidates. Whence he will receive wider exposure to the public.

Once the American people see and hear more of who Duncan Hunter is, and what he has to say, the finest and most experienced man’s name becomes a household name. Then his chances of winning the nomination of the Republican party, and elected president of the greatest country in the world increase exponentially!

He and his campaign send their heartfelt thanks to all their FReeper followers. They appreciate so much all that you do to acquaint your friends and neighbors with what he wants to do for our country.

So, once more, from Duncan Hunter directly to FReepers, thank you, and God bless you all.

The man WHO is going to be your next president!

Of what? Some local civic association?

Sorry, never heard of him.

You’re a funny one, aren’t you?

We’ll see who gets the last laugh in January, 2009.

Once the American people see and hear more of who Duncan Hunter is

See & hear more?

Hell, I'm still waiting to hear the first thing about him.

Hey humble! See my post #42. And welcome to the real world.

Mr. Hunter so far is only a name I hear bandied about by some third-party kooks on FR.

How that equates to the "real world" I have no idea.

Enjoy your unelectable independent candidate.
We had one of those before.. Perot was his name.

Thompson and Hunter on the same ticket!

This could be the libs worst nightmare.

I can go for that.

Romney should be in there somewhere.

Hunter has great ideas...#1 is securing the border ASAP. He's articulate, sharp, and definitely conservative.

So are you...but just like Hunter, you're probably unelectable.

Duncan Hunter in a VP position would suit me fine.

For POTUS he's toast.

:’). That would be a cool bumper sticker, wouldn’t it?. Just need to add Duncan Hunter 2008 for President at the bottom.

Did no one tell you? He’s a Republican. Third party kook voting will only come after a democrat gets a republican nomination.

In that even, humblegummer, I mean gunner. I hope your aim is better than your political acumen, and that your target is out of range! You may be excused from class. Good day.

I knew you were a sharp guy from all our conversations over the years.

We have something in common too.

Imagine my suprise when I had my DNA analysed and found out that my mother was haplogroup 'V', a Skolt Sa'ami (Laplanders)...a disappearing people. Only 400 people worldwide speak the Skolt Sa'ami language now. Check out this video: Skolt Sa'ami

They do it intentionally Pete. The Media does not want our respected Congressman Hunter to be heard, they know he will be favored. They also know their top tier will not gather the majority of the Conservative base, thus their candidate can win. That is the only reason they push them.

It is much easier for a true conservative to pull in the base, moderates and even Dems, than for a moderate to pull in the base and Dems.

In this last Repub debate, Hunter showed himself articulate on the issues, clearly the best conservative of the ten on stage. He showed real courage in calling out and taking on the three Rinos, Guiliani, McCain, and Romney.

In these trying times, courage is a must. I really like Hunter. If I had any doubts about him, the last debate erased them.

Hunter is my first choice, Fred, next, Huckabee or Tancredo next. Huckabee looked good in the debate also.
