Krauthammer failed to note that chain migration will drive these numbers much higher.That is a huge problem with this bill. They keep saying it ends chain migration and converts to merit and nuclear family only. They don't tell you that the bill puts this switch 8 years out...at which time it would never happen.

They don't tell you that the bill puts this switch 8 years out...at which time it would never happen.Demographically, the damage will be done long before the 8 years are up and even then chain migration still plays a major role, over 40%, of all legal immigration numbers. And I agree with you that many of the "concessions" offered to Reps to support this bill will be stripped out by subsequent Dem controlled Congresses. If this bill is passed, the country is finished as we know it.
