Not trying to be incendiary, here, but in the above sense, could you define “helpless”? Are blind, baby mice helpless?
Mice, rats, moles, voles, snakes, lizards, opossums and basically anything that can not be classed as cute, harmless or otherwise inoffensive.
But definitely not babies.
Does that clarify my position?
