That is a good email. Please follow it up with phone calls. Also, remember to call the RNC and your state Republican Party.

I called the this number 202-675-6000 which was supposed to be the Senate Reelection Committee phone number. It was answered by the RNC. The woman at the desk transferred me but, surprise, no one answered the the phone message box was full. So I called back and complained.

This time, the woman at the desk said she would take my comments. It was funny. She was more anti-amnesty than me. She said they had been getting between 500 and 900 calls a day. When I said ‘I bet they are running about 90% against this bill, she said, ‘Try more like 100%’. Of course, she is just a little person, who probably mows her own lawn.

I was a regular listener to Tony Snow’s old radio show. We used to have a live daily thread. Tony was very much of the same opinion as he is now. He didn’t go over to the dark side. On this issue - he started there.

I still greatly admire Mr. Snow and wish him only the best.

I do not know when Tony Snow went over to the dark side. But he sure is there pushing a frightening agenda. I used to like him, but now I have only contempt for him. Selling out the country is totally unacceptable.
